How we work · from the first enquiry to delivery

Your project,
step by step.

No surprises and no "we'll see as we go": below is exactly what happens, in what order, how long it takes and — most importantly — what you do and what we do at every step.

DAY 0 · A FEW DETAILSYOU

You tell us about the building

The address, the type of building, the approximate floor area and the deliverables you need — through the form or by phone. The more we know, the more precise the quote is from the start.

  • You don't need old drawings or documentation — we manage without them
  • Not sure which deliverables you need? Pick "I'd like a recommendation" and we guide you
WITHIN A MAXIMUM OF 48 HOURSUS

You receive the quote and the plan

We analyse the building (satellite imagery included), size the work and send you the quote with the price, the delivery deadline and the scanning plan. If we have questions, we call you first.

CHECKPOINT: you know exactly what you get, when and at what cost — before committing to anything
THE AGREED DAY · 1–7 DAYSTOGETHER

The scanning day — the only one we meet on

The team arrives with all the equipment. You give us access — that's it. Then we work on the move, room by room, without moving furniture and without stopping the activity inside the building.

  • LiDAR scanning inside and outside
  • Photogrammetric flight with the RTK drone — roof, tall facades, grounds
  • High-resolution 360° photography
  • Flight permits? Obtained by us, in advance
CHECKPOINT: we verify full coverage on the spot — we don't leave until everything is documented
THE FOLLOWING DAYSUS

Data processing: from raw scans to 3D models

The field data enters production on two parallel streams: the LiDAR scan becomes the colorized point cloud of the building, while the drone imagery becomes, through photogrammetry, the 3D model of the exterior and the georeferenced orthophoto. Then we align everything into a single unified model and validate every zone — the ±2 cm accuracy at 10 m is not a promise, it is a check we actually carry out.

  • Colorized point cloud from the LiDAR scan — E57, XYZ, RCP/RCS
  • Exterior 3D model + georeferenced orthophoto, from aerial photogrammetry
  • Alignment, registration and georeferencing of all data into a single base
You see the result in the first days: as soon as the 3D model is validated, we send you the viewing link — your building is already explorable online, well before the drawings.
NEXTUS

Interior survey: dimensioning and axes

From the point cloud we extract the interior floor plans, level by level: we set out the building axes, dimension the rooms, the wall thicknesses, the door and window openings. This is the skeleton of the entire documentation — drawn on measured data, not on on-site approximations.

  • Floor plans with real axes and dimensions, extracted from the scan
  • Areas and heights for every room
  • The exact base on which the BIM model of the next stage is built
THE MODELLING WEEKSUS

The BIM model and the facades, to your needs

We rebuild the BIM model element by element (LOD 300) — the facades, the interior or both, according to your project's requirements — then extract the final drawings: facades with axes, dimensions and heights, characteristic sections, roof plan.

  • The content of the model is agreed with you: facades, interior or complete
  • Compatible with Revit, ArchiCAD, AutoCAD — RVT, IFC, PLN
  • Along the way you can ask for the status at any time — we answer, we don't disappear
CHECKPOINT: every drawing is verified against the point cloud before handover
DELIVERY DAYUS

You receive the deliverables

We hand over the technical files, organized in clear folders: point cloud (E57, XYZ, RCP/RCS), BIM model (RVT, IFC, PLN), drawings (DWG, DXF, PDF). And you explore the 3D models through an online viewing link — hosted in the cloud by us, so your whole team can open them in a browser, with no installation.

  • Cloud hosting is included for the period agreed in the quote
  • Want the link active for longer? You extend it simply, for a fee
  • The delivered technical files are, of course, yours
AFTER DELIVERY · ANYTIMEUS

The files stay yours. The tour goes to the archive.

All the delivered files — point cloud, BIM model, drawings — remain yours for good. When the hosting period from the quote ends, the online virtual tour is archived. You can reactivate it at any time, for a fee, for the period you need — as long as the project is in our archive.

The end of the journey

You start here → you arrive here.

Drag left–right: on the left the real building everything starts from, on the right the CAD drawing it ends with. And below — the numbers of the journey, in short (tap them):

+ ON SITE 1single visit

All the data is collected in one visit. A forgotten dimension no longer means a trip — you extract it from the point cloud, straight from the office.

+ QUALITY 3checks along the way

A clear quote before the start, verification of full coverage while still on site, and control of every drawing against the point cloud before handover.

+ DELIVERABLES 9standard formats

E57 · XYZ · RCP/RCS · RVT · IFC · PLN · DWG · DXF · PDF — plus the online viewing link for the 3D models.

+ AFTER DELIVERY tour reactivable from the archive

The tour is live for the period in the quote, then it is archived. You can reactivate it for a fee, for the interval you need, as long as the project is in our archive.

Recap

Your part, out of the whole journey:
three short moments.

1 + A FEW DETAILS

You tell us about the building

one form or one phone call

The form has the fields ready — service, floor area, town. Not sure about something? Leave it blank, we'll ask. Any remaining questions come from us too, if needed.

Open the form →
2 + THE SCANNING DAY

You open the door for us

that's it — your activity carries on

You don't move furniture, you don't empty the building, you don't stop your schedule. The team works discreetly around your activity, and at the end we check together that everything was covered.

3 + AT THE END

You receive and review

deliverables + viewing link

You open the organized folders, explore the 3D model online and ask questions. The delivered files are yours for good, and the tour stays live for the period agreed in the quote.

⏱ YOUR TOTAL INVOLVEMENT one conversation about the project+ access to the building during the scan+ one review at the end The rest of the journey? That's on us.
Frequently asked questions

About the process, in short

How long does the whole process take?

On-site scanning takes between one day and about a week, depending on the area and complexity of the building. Processing, BIM modelling and extracting the drawings take from a few days to a few weeks — the exact deadline is stated in the quote, before we start.

Do we have to stop the activity inside the building?

No. Scanning is done on the move, room by room, without moving furniture and without blocking access — the activity carries on as normal.

What do I need to prepare before the scan?

Almost nothing: access to every room that has to be documented and, ideally, the spaces arranged the way you want them to appear. We take care of the rest, including the flight permits for the drone.

How do I receive the final deliverables?

You receive the technical files organized clearly — point cloud (E57, XYZ, RCP/RCS), BIM model (RVT, IFC, PLN), drawings (DWG, DXF, PDF) — and you explore the 3D models through an online viewing link, hosted in the cloud by us, without installing any software.

How long does the online viewing link stay active?

Cloud hosting is included for the period agreed in the quote. When it expires the tour is archived, and reactivation is available for a fee, for the interval you need — as long as the project is in our archive. The delivered technical files remain yours for good, regardless of the state of the online tour.

What if I need another drawing after delivery?

If the project is still in our archive, we extract it from the existing digital base, with no new trip to the site. We recommend you keep the delivered files as well — they are yours for good.

Day 0 can be today.
